This three story log home was build by Jon as a "hobby" during the last 17 years while employed in the industrial construction field. He cut the logs and constructed the home without blueprints, and so far the resort is at 11,000 square feet. In 1996 it was decided that the home would welcome travelers and guests. Interior details are an eclectic blend of furnishings and collectibles featuring local arts and crafts from many of the talented artists in the area. The Great Room is the place to be, whether sharing life's adventures in front of the crackling fireplace, reading a great novel, or simply gazing out at the abundant wildlife and picturesque mountains. Our mountains are a year-round grazing range for deer and elk. The view from the dining room takes in the trout pond, aspen covered wood, and a variety of colorful birds cavorting at the feeders. Enjoy an evening meal in our gourmet restaurant. The tantalizing aromas will tickle your taste buds. Our in-house chef prepares unique menus from the freshest of available ingredients. Everything is prepared to order. Beer and wine are available.
